About the designs
WildLifeThings is a small nature illustration studio. We pick one species at a time, study it from real reference, and draw it with the patience of an old field plate: the shape of a cap, the ribs of a gill, the way a sea slug carries its own light.
The catalogue is built around two collections. Mushrooms gathers fungi illustrations, from lattice-shaped species to mushrooms that glow in the dark. Reef Life gathers marine and freshwater creatures, from nudibranchs to mantis shrimp. Alongside them sit a few designs that are not portraits of a single species but ideas built out of them.
Everything is available as posters, prints, t-shirts, hoodies and accessories through our print partners. Nothing is produced in advance and nothing sits in a warehouse: each piece is made after the order, which is why the catalogue can stay narrow and specific instead of broad and generic.
